The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has significantly bolstered electricity supply in Yobe State by commissioning a new 60MVA mobile power transformer at the Damaturu Transmission Substation. This development comes as part of TCN's ongoing efforts to enhance grid stability and reliability across Nigeria, addressing long-standing electricity shortages that have hampered economic growth and social development in the region.
The new transformer increases the substation's capacity from 30MVA to 60MVA, enabling it to better serve the increasing power demands of local communities and businesses.
