Kwara State University (KWASU) has achieved a significant milestone with the National Universities Commission's (NUC) full accreditation of nine academic programmes, valid for three years. This accreditation marks a crucial step in bolstering the university's reputation and reflects its commitment to academic excellence.
The NUC's decision comes amidst a nationwide push for quality assurance in higher education, addressing concerns over the standardization of university programmes. KWASU has invested in faculty development and infrastructure, which played a critical role in meeting the NUC's rigorous standards. "This accreditation is a testament to our dedication to providing quality education and will enhance the employability of our graduates," said Professor Mohammed Mustapha, Vice-Chancellor of KWASU.
