In a significant move to enhance security in Gombe State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has successfully concluded training for 80 private security guards. This initiative aims to bolster the capacity of private security personnel in safety protocols, ethical conduct, and intelligence gathering, addressing the growing need for competent security services in the region.
The training program, which included extensive workshops and practical exercises, was designed to equip the guards with essential skills to combat rising crime rates and ensure public safety. NSCDC Commandant in Gombe, Aliyu Musa, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "Empowering private guards with the right skills not only strengthens our security architecture but also fosters a collaborative approach to crime prevention."
