The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has taken a decisive step by blacklisting Onifam Laboratories and its directors due to significant regulatory violations, effectively barring them from any pharmaceutical business in Nigeria. Onifam Laboratories faced scrutiny for failing to comply with established manufacturing practices and for distributing substandard products, which could endanger consumers. NAFDAC has emphasized that such violations will not be tolerated. “Our priority is to protect the health and safety of Nigerians, and we will continue to act firmly against any entity that undermines these values,” stated Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, Director General of NAFDAC.
