In a significant show of support for local industry, the Jetty and Tank Farm Owners Association of Nigeria (JETFON) has rallied behind Aliko Dangote’s call for Nigeria to fully depend on its local refineries. This comes amid growing tensions with the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN), which advocates for continued petrol imports. JETFON has urged the government to cancel any new petrol import licenses, emphasizing the need to bolster domestic production.
