The International Aviation College (IAC) in Ilorin has successfully trained 250 aviation professionals, achieving an impressive 96% accreditation rate, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria's aviation education sector. This achievement comes as a result of a collaborative effort, particularly highlighting the intervention of the Kwara State government, which has played a crucial role in stabilizing the institution during challenging times.

Rector of IAC, Captain Ibrahim Yaro, emphasized the importance of this support, stating, "The government's intervention has been instrumental in safeguarding the college from potential collapse, enabling us to focus on delivering quality training to our students." This development not only enhances the college's reputation but also contributes to addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in Nigeria’s aviation industry.

Looking ahead, the strong accreditation rate positions IAC to become a premier training hub in West Africa, potentially attracting international students and partnerships. As the aviation sector continues to expand, the college's commitment to excellence will be vital in ensuring that Nigeria remains competitive in the global market.
