The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has intensified its enforcement efforts in Kebbi State, impounding 39 vehicles for overloading and route violations during a recent operation. Codenamed "Daidaita Lodi" and "Lodi Limit," the initiative spanned across the FRSC's seven operational units, highlighting a commitment to enhancing road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
This crackdown comes amid rising concerns about road safety standards in Nigeria, where overloading has been a persistent issue contributing to accidents and fatalities. Mohammed, the Kebbi State Sector Commander.
