As Nigeria braces for the impending flood season, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has initiated a response campaign in Rivers State, underscoring the urgency of preparedness. During a recent stakeholders’ engagement in Port Harcourt, NEMA's Director-General, Zubaida Umar, emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to mitigate potential disasters, stating, “We must come together to ensure that our communities are protected and informed.”
