The Federal Government's efforts to address chronic congestion in the Lagos port corridor signal a decisive move towards enhancing Nigeria's trade efficiency. The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) has announced a targeted initiative from May 14 to 15 aimed at alleviating the persistent bottlenecks that hinder the flow of goods and services through one of Africa's busiest ports.

According to Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, the Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, “Clearing the port corridor is crucial for reducing delays and costs for importers and exporters, ultimately fostering a more competitive business environment.”
