The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has initiated a significant recycling program aimed at tackling the alarming issue of airport waste. Launched at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, the initiative targets the reversal of 1,383 tonnes of waste generated annually, highlighting a growing commitment to environmental sustainability within Nigeria's aviation sector.
