In a significant crackdown on smuggling, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has seized nearly 2,000 kegs of vegetable oil and other contraband valued at N273.68 million in Cross River. The seizure took place at the Cross River/Calabar Free Trade Zone/Akwa Ibom Area Command, emphasizing the NCS's commitment to enforcing trade regulations. "Our operations will continue until we significantly reduce illegal trading activities," stated Joseph Attah, the NCS Public Relations Officer.
