BUA Cement Plc has reported a remarkable 79% increase in profit, reaching N384.4 billion in its H1 2026 financial results, a significant leap attributed to robust demand and operational efficiencies. The company’s profit before tax stood at N324.4 billion, reflecting strong performance amidst a competitive market landscape.

This surge comes as BUA Cement capitalizes on Nigeria's growing infrastructure needs and a recovery in the construction sector, which has been buoyed by government projects and private investments. The company's strategic investments in production capacity and innovative technologies have positioned it favorably against its rivals. "Our focus on quality and operational efficiency has set new benchmarks in the industry, driving our growth," stated Abdul Samad Rabiu, Executive Chairman of BUA Cement.

Looking ahead, the outlook for BUA Cement remains optimistic. Continued government initiatives aimed at infrastructure development and urbanization are expected to sustain demand for cement. As the company explores expansion opportunities, it is poised to strengthen its market leadership while contributing significantly to Nigeria's economic growth in the coming years.
