The International Air Transport Association (IATA) noted that the surge in demand can be attributed to several factors, including a stronger e-commerce sector and the urgent need for timely delivery of goods. "Air cargo is proving to be a vital lifeline for businesses facing supply chain disruptions," stated Willie Walsh, IATA's Director General.
