YCE leaders commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde for their roles in the rescue efforts, yet they underscored that such incidents are becoming alarmingly frequent. "We must confront this menace proactively; failure to do so threatens the safety and stability of our communities," stated Olanrewaju Adetola, a prominent elder and spokesperson for the YCE.
