As the 2027 elections approach, community leaders in Delta State are intensifying efforts to rally support for key political figures. Comrade Eniwake Orogun, President of the Isoko National Youth Assembly, recently mobilized youths and women in Emevor to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Engr Orobosa Ashaka’s political ambitions. This grassroots initiative highlights the significance of local support in shaping electoral outcomes.

Orogun emphasized the importance of unity and collective action, stating, “We must stand together to ensure our voices are heard and our interests represented.” His call to action reflects a broader strategy among political leaders in the region to engage young voters and women, who are crucial demographic groups. The support for Tinubu and Oborevwori is particularly notable, as both leaders have made strides in governance, with promises of economic reforms and infrastructural development.

As campaigning intensifies, the Emevor community's mobilization efforts may serve as a model for similar initiatives across Delta State. With the political landscape evolving, the ability to galvanize grassroots support will likely play a pivotal role in the upcoming elections.
